Our 3 Phase Process

DreamBuilders Home Remodeling understands the importance of the process. Our full-service remodeling and design services follow a step-by-step progression, whether we’re orchestrating a complex whole house rennovation or planning a small bathroom remodel. Below is a description of how we work.

Phase I- "Fees-Ability" Evaluation

Purpose: To establish a realistic budget for your project and determine how to proceed with your project.

Cost: Complimentary

Time Commitment: 3 Visits

1. Visit 1: Meet with our design-build team in our showroom, discuss preliminary budget, see examples of our work

2. Visit 2: We visit your space to take measurements, photos, and discuss ideas for your space.

3. Visit 3: We meet in the showroom and present a preliminary scope of work and specific budget for your project.

At the end of this phase, you will know what type of budget you will need for your project and can decide whether to proceed with the design of your project. Click here for more information about our "fees-ability" evaluation.

Phase II- Design Process

Purpose: To create a design that will meet your needs now, as well as in the future within your established project budget.

Timeframe: Average of 2 - 8 weeks, varies according to size of project

1. Designer prepares drawings and plans.

2. Review drawings and plans with designer.

3. Select products and finishes with designer.

4. Finalize design and scope of work.

5. Contractor and design-build team does job walk at your home to get final pricing for your project.

6. Meet with contractor for firm quote on final scope of work.

7. Sign remodeling contract documents, review work schedule, finish schedule, and progress draw schedules.

Phase III- Construction Process

Purpose: To remodel your space according to plans.

Timeframe: As per contract

(Kitchen remodels average 6-8 weeks, bath remodels 2-4 weeks, whole house remodels 10-12 weeks)

1. Order products.

2. Get permit.

3. Pre-production meeting with superintendent.

4. Complete construction

5. Punch list walk and completion

6. 3 Year Warranty and Project Close out
